**This is a full-time contractor role payable at $25 per hour**

We are seeking a Junior IT Network Engineer (Smart H&F) to provide hands-on support for all network-related functions at our customer’s manufacturing plant. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and performance. The ideal candidate will work as part of a team to address networking issues, manage hardware installations, and execute configuration tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site support for network infrastructure at the manufacturing facility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
• Assist with fiber path planning, cabling, and rack mounting hardware.
• Perform IOS upgrades and configuration loads as needed.
• Utilize the ServiceNow ticketing system to manage and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain and optimize network performance.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• CISCO CCT certification is required with at least 1 year of networking experience.
• Strong understanding of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Familiarity with the ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Experience working with Cisco Command Line Interface (CLI) preferred.

Preferred Skills & Nice-to-Have Experience:

• CISCO CCNA certification (preferred but not required).
• Experience with fiber path planning & cabling.
• Ability to rack mount hardware and handle network equipment installations.
• Knowledge of IOS upgrades and configuration loads.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Shift: MON-FRI 1 pm - 10 pm 40 hours per week
Every other weekend on-call duty and weekend project work (if needed).
