$25-30/hr. (depending on experience) + 10% Shift Differential
2nd Shift = Mon - Fri (3pm to 11pm) *Some OT may be required
Job Summary:
- The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing department
- Provide technical support for Troubleshooting / Problem Solving activities and repair to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime
Technical Skills (Required):
- Mechanical background
- Familiar with installation of new equipment and modifications on existing
- Familiar with mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, electric motors, pumps, valves, belts, chains, sprockets, bearings, pulley's, gearboxes, conveyors, and able to learn complex equipment
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Maintenance in a manufacturing setting (preferred from Printing, Food, Packaging, or Automotive industries)
- Technical School Certificate or equivalent work experience
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
- Comfortable using ladders, scissor lifts, etc...
- Ability to use hands, walk, stand, stoop, knell, twist, and bend
