    Position Overview:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Fabricate, assemble, and modify sheet metal parts and complex assemblies to meet exacting aerospace standards, using various equipment such as press brakes, punch presses, drill motors, and grinders.
    • Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders with a high degree of accuracy to ensure components meet specified requirements.
    • Conduct regular inspections and measurements on completed parts, utilizing tools like micrometers, calipers, and height gauges, to confirm they align with strict quality standards.
    • Identify and troubleshoot any non-conformance issues, adjusting machinery and techniques to achieve desired results.
    • Maintain adherence to safety and quality protocols while ensuring a clean and organized work area.

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent; advanced training in sheet metal fabrication or aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace sheet metal fabrication or a related field, with demonstrated proficiency in operating and adjusting a variety of tools and equipment.
    • Expertise in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Proficiency in operating complex sheet metal machinery, including but not limited to large and small press brakes, rivet machines, notchers, and milling machines.
    • Ability to maintain precise standards with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
    • Comfortable working in a moderate-noise environment with occasional exposure to airborne particles and chemicals.
