Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the Pomona area with a well-established construction company. (Construction or Manufacturing background preferred).

REQUIREMENTS

• One to three years’ experience of high-volume payroll experience
• Experience with costing payroll to projects
• Experience with certified payroll a plus but no required
• Understanding of union payroll a plus
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal and external coworkers
• Critical thinking, judgment, decision-making, follow-up and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Heavy data entry
• Must have good math aptitude
