    Key Responsibilities

    Sales and Business Development (Primary Focus)

    • Prospect, identify, and close new B2B clients in the 3PL, warehousing and distribution industries.
    • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
    • Deveop and maintain relationships with existing clients, focusing on upselling and long-term partnerships.
    • Generate outbound leads via cold calls, networking, email outreach, and industry events.
    • Follow up on inbound leads and convert them into paying customers.
    • Utilize Freshsales CRM to track leads, manage pipelines, and maintain client interactions.
    • Hit sales targets and revenue goals through strategic sales efforts.

    Marketing and Brand Growth (Secondary Focus)

    • Assist in building the company's brand presence through social media, email campaigns, and digital content.
    • Support SEO strategies by contributing to blog posts, web content, and targeted outreach.
    • Work with leadership to create marketing materials (brochures, case studies, presentations) that support sales efforts.
    • Attend industry trade shows and networking events to represent the company and generate new leads.

    Experience and Skills:

    • 2+ years of sales experience in B2B. Logistics, warehousing, or distribution experience is a plus.
    • Proven ability to generate leads and close deals with a consultative sales approach.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Marketing experience is a plus, but the ability to sell and build client relationships is the top priority.
    • Experience using Freshsales CRM or similar software to track leads and manage sales pipelines.
    • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent professional or military experience is valued but not required.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Base Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience)
    • Commission: Flat % on total revenue (uncapped earnings)
    • Bonuses: Performance-based incentives (quarterly & annual)

    This is a full-time, in-person position, located in Kansas City, KS. Work hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
