Position Summary:
Experienced Supply Chain Solutions Sales/Business Development individual to manage, aggressively develop, and grow prospective business in their territory targeted at 3PL Solution Sales. Responsibilities include the development of new business, management of the complete sales cycle process including: lead generation, prospect identification, qualification, pricing development, proposal preparation and presentation, and contract signing and renewal. Must have demonstrated success in achieving multi-million dollar sales and willingness to hunt for qualified opportunities and build prosperous territory. Ability to develop customized solutions to meet customer supply chain and logistical needs is vital.
This position is remote. Qualified candidates within the continental US will be considered.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field strongly preferred or commensurate education, training and experience required
Minimum 4 years sales/business development experience in supply chain, 3PL and/or distribution/fulfillment
Experience using CRM and digital selling tools and strategies. SalesForce experience is a plus
High degree of proficiency in MS O365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMs, Project and PowerPoint), web-based and Windows based software
Demonstrated track record of qualifying and closing significant new supply chain business opportunities
Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to earn the trust and confidence of customers and stakeholders (internal/external)
High level of accountability, proven ability to take ownership of responsibilities
Strong work ethic, attention to detail and ability to work independently
Highly self-motivated with ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines within an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
Strong entrepreneurial and strategic thinker with proven problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent professional level written and verbal communication skills - ability to interface and communicate effectively with multiple functional groups, geographic regions/cultures, different levels of internal and external organizations
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, other departments and interact with various work behavior styles
Solid negotiation and collaboration skills - able to influence outcomes and bring initiatives to successful completion
Innovative outlook, results focused and action oriented

This job operates in a work-from-home professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and smartphones.

Seeing abilities required by this job include detecting/identifying/recognizing/inspecting objects close to the employee, within a distance, peripherally, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Typical travel for this position is 40% - 70% (Assuming no company or government/public health travel restrictions)
