    Job Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Architect to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. The ideal candidate will drive technological innovation, with expertise in Azure infrastructure, networking, and a focus on hybrid deployments for critical infrastructure.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and manage Azure-based infrastructure solutions, emphasizing hybrid deployments with high availability and disaster recovery for public and private utility clients

    • Lead the adoption of cloud infrastructure, optimizing IT landscapes

    • Educate other team members on new cloud technologies and initiatives

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Implement DevOps practices, automate deployments, and drive continuous improvement

    • Azure resource responsibilities:

    · Virtual Networks

    · Azure Stack HCI

    · Storage Accounts

    · Backup and Site Recovery

    · Virtual Machines

    · Azure Virtual Desktop

    · Arc & Monitor

    · Microsoft 365 Business Premium

    • Manage IT projects, ensuring adherence to timelines

    • Provide expert guidance and troubleshooting for Azure-related issues

    • Stay updated on Azure services and cloud technologies, implementing best practices

    • Conduct system audits to maintain security, compliance, and efficiency

    Qualifications: (Recommended but Not Required)

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

    • Experience: 10 years of IT experience

    • Certifications: AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-400

    • Azure Proficiency: Azure Arc, Azure Automanage, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Managed Instance

    • Microsoft 365 Skills: Office Apps, Exchange, Teams, Entra (Azure AD), Security, Compliance, Defender, Azure ATP, Intune (Endpoint Manager), OneDrive, SharePoint

    • Windows Server Skills: Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, IIS, Application Server (LOB Apps), File Services (DFS), SQL Server, Session Host, Windows Admin Center

    • MDM Skills: Windows Desktop (Domain, Hybrid, or Azure Managed), Android, Apple, MacOS

    • Coding Skills: Bicep/Terraform, Powershell/Bash, Python, Github/Azure DevOps
