    POSITION:

    We're hiring a new Warehouse Shipping & Production Associate at 420 Science.

    We're looking for someone who is hardworking, efficient, has an eye for detail and can transition between multiple responsibilities throughout the workday. Must have a strong ability to learn new processes quickly.

    We're in need of someone to assist in the production of 420 Jars. The job involves applying decals onto glass jars by hand. Here's a short video of the process: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxiSFsSv99g

    The remainder of your workdays will be assisting the warehouse team in packing and fulfilling orders, restocking shelves, and general warehouse maintenance.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Ability to work 35-40 hours/week with some flexibility depending on demand, including some weekends.

    You must have a reliable form of transportation and be able to come in on a set schedule.

    Jar decaling responsibilities include:

    • Pulling jars from blank inventory and loading them onto a cart to transport to the decaling area (some lifting required - up to 20 lbs).
    • Applying the correct size decals onto the correct size jars in an efficient manner. The goal will be to make 300 jars per day after a training period.
    • The decal has to be applied straight and all air bubbles must be squeegeed out. A good eye for these things is vital.
    • This work is very repetitive. The ability to maintain focus over a long period of time is extremely important.
    • Loading & Unloading jars in/out of kilns and programming start times

    Shipping responsibilities include:

    • Shipping - picking items and packing boxes
    • Some large orders can be heavy (up to 50 lbs)
    • Restocking shelves with new inventory
    • Using online shipping systems to process orders and print shipping labels
    • Weekly inventory counts on small sections of our products
    • Warehouse cleanup

    Attention to detail is a requirement

    Items must be stocked in the correct locations

    Memorization of item codes and locations is necessary

    Orders being pulled must be accurate

    Ability to repetitively inspect product while maintaining attention to detail.

    EXPECTATIONS:

    8 hours of work/day between 8am - 6pm with some flexibility

    Experience with Netsuite, Shopify, or ShipStation a HUGE plus

    Organization and time management skills are another HUGE plus

    Candidates will be expected to submit to a background check

    COMPENSATION:

    $12 / hour

    Bonus incentive for high fulfillment volume

    Paid Holidays including Birthday

    Paid Sick Days: Five per year, no rollover

    Paid vacation days: five per year earned on an accrual basis, increases with seniority
