POSITION: Purchasing & Inventory Team Lead HVAC/R
CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt
SALARY RANGE: Hourly DOE
REPORTS TO: General Manager, Service
JOB DESCRIPTION
This job description provides a high-level overview of expectations and objectives for the role of, Purchasing & Inventory Team Lead for the Cold Chain. This is subject to change and might include functions not listed in this document.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Purchasing & Inventory Team Lead, Cold Chain role is inclusive of but not limited to the following:

· Perform Routine Cycle Counts of refrigerant and other high-volume items
o Reconcile any variance
· Perform Yearly Physical Inventory of all Stocking Locations.
o Annual +/- should not exceed 2%
o Reconcile any variance
· Work with finance VP and Operations VP to reduce inventory dollars by, 33%
o To Include OSMI reduction of 50%
· Work with Service departments to develop a truck-stock, auto replenishment program
· Work with Department Managers to improve flow of parts thru billing
· Work with Service GMs to clean-up and align part names
· Work with VP of Finance and department managers to maintain and run regular meetings and maintain accurate metrics
· Work with department managers to develop Cold Chain, Consumables List(s) with $0.00 part numbers
Targets:
· Annual Inventory Variance of less than 2%
· All inventory is counted annually
· Reduction of OSMI by 50% by year’s end
o OSMI is defined as SKUs that turn less than 1 time/year.
· Reduction of non-OSMI inventory by 33 (Dollar Value)

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The position will require individual to report to the Brooksville facility which is a professional office environment with attached warehouses and routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, video calling, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets etc.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb stairs and/or step ladder, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee may be required to lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs.
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position. Hours per week = 40+. The company’s standard business hours are 8am-5pm Monday thru Friday, however the successful candidate will be expected to manage his/her time accordingly.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3-5 years in a related industry and position.
Proven ability to drive results.
Must be a self-starter able to manage self and others.
Hands-on experience with inventory management software
Parts logistics, business administration, finance or similar relevant field OR Equivalent Experience in supply chain turnaround and systems expertise.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Previous Parts & Inventory experience a MUST
Supply Chain / Inventory Management experience in HVAC/R a PLUS
Additional education in logistics or supply management is a PLUS
