  • Responsibilities

    The 503A Fulfillment Technician is responsible for the preparation, packaging, and dispensing of compounded medications in compliance with all regulatory and company standards. This role ensures accuracy, quality, and efficiency in fulfilling prescriptions while maintaining a sterile and organized work environment. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently prepare compounded medications in accordance with 503A guidelines and standard operating procedures. • Follow all USP <795>, <797>, and <800> guidelines to ensure proper sterile and non-sterile compounding practices. • Label, package, and dispense medications with strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal protocols. • Maintain accurate documentation, including batch records, prescription logs, and inventory tracking. • Assist in quality control procedures, including sterility and potency testing, as required. • Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other technicians to ensure seamless workflow and timely fulfillment of orders. • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and report shortages to management for replenishment. • Adhere to safety and infection control procedures to ensure a clean and compliant work environment. Qualifications: Qualifications & Skills: • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or pharmacy technician certification preferred. • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). • Previous experience in a compounding pharmacy or sterile compounding environment is preferred. • Knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, and <800> guidelines and aseptic techniques. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures precisely. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus under pressure. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand for extended periods. • Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs. Compensation: $18 - $23 hourly
