Summary: We’re hiring a 508 Developer/Tester to ensure IRS tax platforms meet WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards. You’ll audit UIs, develop compliant components, and work hybrid to make services inclusive for all users.

Responsibilities:

Audit interfaces using JAWS, Dragon, and Zoom Text for WCAG 2.0 compliance.

Build accessible React components, supporting global compatibility.

Develop test plans and usability reports.

Commit audit artifacts to GitHub.

Collaborate in a hybrid on-site/remote environment.

Qualifications: Required:

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.

3+ years in accessibility testing.

Expertise in JAWS, Dragon, Zoom Text, WCAG 2.0, WAI-ARIA, accessibility, and agile methodologies.

Trusted Tester (Section 508) or equivalent certification.

Preferred:

IRS accessibility experience.

Knowledge of i18n, l10n, or UX design.

Advanced WCAG 2.0 certification.
