Job Summary: The HR Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring efficient and smooth HR operations. This role involves a variety of tasks, including recruitment support, employee record maintenance, and assistance with HR projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
Employee Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
Record Maintenance: Maintain and update employee records, both electronic and paper, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
HR Administration: Assist with day-to-day HR operations, such as preparing HR documents, processing employee requests, and managing HR-related correspondence.
Benefits Administration: Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollment processes, answering employee inquiries, and maintaining benefits records.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements, assisting with audits and preparing necessary documentation.
Employee Engagement: Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs to foster a positive work environment.
HR Projects: Provide support for various HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and programs.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field desired but not required.
Experience: Previous experience in an HR support role or administrative position is preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
