    Job Title: Advanced Project Manager (PM)
    Duration: 11 Months

    Job Overview:

    The Advanced Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and managing project teams to achieve successful project delivery. This includes overseeing project scope, schedules, budgets, and ensuring the timely delivery of value.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Planning and Management
    • Define project scope and schedules, focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.
    • Organize and lead project status and working meetings.
    • Prepare and distribute progress reports.
    • Manage risks and issues, correcting deviations from plans as necessary.
    • Perform delivery planning and operational readiness for assigned projects.
    • Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures.
    • Ensure project deadlines are met, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings.
    • Support the project change control process.
    Project Team Management
    • Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for commitments.
    • Remove roadblocks and leverage organizational resources to enhance project capacity.
    • Mentor and develop team members across multiple workstreams.
    Team Building
    • Empower team members and ensure active engagement and meaningful contributions.
    • Encourage sustainable, high-quality work practices within the team.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Developing, maintaining, and monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
    • Organizing, attending, and facilitating stakeholder meetings (internal and external).
    • Documenting meeting decisions and actions, and following up on them.
    • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
    • Collaborating with team members to determine and prioritize work.
    • Assuring proper visibility for leadership to monitor and communicate project progress.
    • Elevating project risks and issues while providing applicable solutions.
    • Ensuring adherence to Project and Portfolio Management Office processes and procedures.

    Required Skills:

    • Effective interpersonal skills including conflict management, active listening, and team building.
    • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
    • Ability to establish and maintain high levels of customer trust and confidence.
    • Proficiency in project management tools like Clarity, Open Workbench, MS Project, Azure DevOps, and Jira.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience interacting at all levels, including executives.
    • Full transparency in reporting project progress, risks, and vendor performance.
    • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while working under tight deadlines.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (or equivalent project management/programming experience).
    • At least 5 years of experience managing medium to large-scale projects.
    • Strong background in project/program planning, work plan development, and project management processes.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • PMP or similar project management certification.
    • Experience working with public health or state agencies.
    • Financial acumen to manage and oversee project budgets.
