POSITION DESCRIPTION AND PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
The Draft Beer Quality Technician is one of the most importantpositions within our company. As a Draft Beer Quality Technician (DQT), you areresponsible for ensuring local bars/restaurants serve the highest quality pintsof draft beer. A typical day will consist of visiting customer locations tokeep their draft beer systems clean and serving great beer as well as buildingrelationships with managers, owners, and bartenders.
We work very hard to meet the Brewer, Distributor and RestaurantOwner’s expectations in maintaining the highest standards possible in allaspects of draft beer system operations. The AHFP Draft Quality Technicianserves as the face of our company to their local accounts and has the abilityto seek out and generate leads from the relationships built during a 10-daycleaning cycle.
Typical work hours are M-F 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m (typically no weekendschedule but regular overtime opportunities available)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To manage a scheduled route for the purpose ofcleaning and maintaining Draft Beer lines and Wine on Tap.
- Weekly management of assigned accounts.
- Completion of all required communication andverification tools to confirm that the assigned lines are being serviced withinthe designated timeframe
- This is toinclude documenting completed line cleanings at the restaurant or retail levelusing designated forms and calendars.
- This alsoincludes using the AHFP APP as assigned.
- To maintain a high level of communication with everycustomer as to the status of their accounts.
- To maintain a high level of communication with yourmanagement team as to the status of assigned accounts.
- To attend all scheduled AHFP meetings and trainings
- To be responsible for maintaining a clean/sanitarywork and storage area for company equipment.
- To study and successfully complete the Level 1Cicerone training within 90 days of employment.
- To be on time and present as scheduled.
- To maintain a professional appearance at all timesincluding wearing proper uniform and required personal protective equipment(PPE)
- To remain beer neutral, this is to say the we cannotand will not recommend any one beer over another.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
- Clear written and oral communication ability.
- Comfort with mobile technology (smartphones) andmobile applications
- To display mechanical aptitude / be mechanicallyinclined.
- Ability to learn and retain draft beer systemoperations and draft beer system line cleaning best practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Responsible and safe operation of a company vehicle.
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
- Physical Requirements: (lifting, bending, climbing,driving, etc.)
- Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license with aclean DMV record
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in Food &Beverage/Hospitality preferred
STARTING SALARY:
- Up to $13.25/hour + growth opportunities and overtime hours
