Job Description

Pay Rate: $21.30 to $25.10 per hour

** Purpose of position:**

Processing of incoming vendor invoices for special accounts, packaging invoices, payroll tax, and benefit payments. Managing Accounts Payable email inbox. Work with Accounts Payable management team to troubleshoot Accounts Payable system breakdowns and assist with process improvement initiatives.

** Essential Job Functions:**

• Process incoming Commodity freight, fuel, and packaging invoices, which includes researching invoices timely.
• Partner with management to identify areas for improvement within the Accounts Payable department and create solutions to streamline processes. Includes trouble-shooting system breakdowns, researching solutions and implementation.
• Daily monitoring of Accounts Payable email inbox ensuring incoming invoices are sent to SAP workflow.
• Processing of payroll tax payments, benefit payments and special accounts involving coordination with Sourcing department and Vendors.
• Data entry and processing of payment uploads.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least 1 year of Accounts Payable experience required.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; 10-key by touch
• Problem solving skills and demonstrate time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Results oriented, customer focused, and innovative
• Ability to work in fast paced, high-pressure situations
• Consistent and reliable attendance
• Data entry experience strongly preferred
