    About the A&P/IA position - FAA Licence required

    We are looking for a capable and FAA licensed Aircraft Mechanic A&P preferably with IA who will repair our aircraft and maintain them.

    Please do not apply, if you don't have a General Aviation Background or an FAA license. This is a waste of time!

    Your duties will include troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality. Besides you will communicate with customers to provide them with advice.

    You should be well-versed in complex mechanical or electronical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities as well as good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.

    A&P Mechanic responsibilities are:

    • Examine components and general state of aircraft engine to diagnose issues accurately

    • Examine aircraft fuselage and components to repair, maintain and upgrade

    • Organize maintenance work (including replacing fluids, lubricating parts and so on) in accordance with FAA regulations and standards, on a regular basis

    • Replace or repair dysfunctional parts and fix issues in accordance with FAR 43 and Aircraft manufacturer manuals

    • Perform accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job

    • Manage logs on work and issues

    • Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained

    A&P/IA Mechanic requirements are:

    • Valid FAA A &P certificate preferably with IA

    • Preferred: 2+ years' experience of working as A&P on General Aviation airplanes or other relevant position

    • Significant experience with Single and Multi Engine Piston aircraft

    • In-depth knowledge of mechanical components

    • Experience of handling various tools and heavy equipment

    • Ability to lift +50lbs

    • Ability to work nights and weekends as required

    • Ability to work shifts

    • Ability to comply with all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.

    • Good physical condition

    • High school diploma; additional certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship
