    GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is an aerospace staffing company specializing in temporary and permanent staffing for general and technical positions in the aviation and aerospace industry.

    Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Inspectors are an integral part of our operations.

    Inspectors work according to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and company regulations and procedures. Inspectors certify the quality of workmanship, including signing mechanical flight releases.

    Dean Baldwin Painting will work with new inspectors to teach them how to inspect for paint defects, following our written procedures.

    Responsibilities of A&P Certified Aircraft Inspector:

    Follow policies and procedures as detailed in the Air Carrier and Repair Station manuals.

    • Familiarize self with all the current pertinent FAA specifications, air worthiness directives, manufacturer’s instructions, bulletins, technical data, and other approved data applicable to the unit being inspected.
    • Perform preliminary, hidden damage, in progress, and final inspection of all the items as assigned for inspection.
    • Review work packages for accuracy and completeness of paperwork.
    • After completion of work by the crew, in cooperation with the Chief Inspector, inspects the work to determine the job is completed and is of the best quality possible
    • Proper execution of maintenance release pertinent to all items returned to service.
    • Ensure that all aircraft are airworthy when returning to service.
    • Perform receiving inspections for aircraft parts when needed.

    Requirements of the A&P Certified Aircraft Inspector:

    • Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings. Meets requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83
    • Verifiable aircraft inspection/maintenance employment within last 5 years, preferably with commercial or regional aircraft experience
    • Familiar with compliance of Federal Aviation Regulations.
    • Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications.
    • Must pass all conducted drug/alcohol screening, background and security checks and prove eligibility for employment in the United States
    • A valid state driver's license to meet the company's insurability requirements.
