Endoscopy Center of Bergen County has an immediate need for a full time A/R Collector. At Endoscopy Center of Bergen County (also known as Paramus Endoscopy, LLC) we believe health and care are inseparable. Job Summary: The Collector will be responsible for working the facilities A/R report and collecting money due from the Insurance Company.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- If billing information in Advantx system is not correct, pull patient chart and make the necessary changes.
- Correct rejection errors in Zirmed/Waystar.
- An extensive knowledge of claims, reimbursement and collection efforts for Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Comp, Commercial plans, etc.
- Answers and directs incoming calls in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.
- Demonstrates safe work habits in the work place with concern for the safety of patients and employees.
- Keeps office area neat and organized.
- Contact clients and collect outstanding payments.
- Is consistently punctual and shows a responsible and dependable pattern of attendance.
- Promotes positive working relationships among team members.
- Attends BO meetings, center staff meetings and participates on any committees when requested.
- Practices and adheres to all Policies & Procedures set by SSC & USPI/Tenet.
- Provides lunch/break coverage for front desk when needed.
