We are currently seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to support our Patuxent River, MD customer. The incumbent will:

• Perform tasks which include but are not limited to implementing and maintaining cyber security compliance, performing system configuration management, and validating system requirements compliance. Ensure system compliance is maintained in accordance with the current Risk Management Framework (RMF) System Authorization.  Identifying cyber security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of systems, software, applications and new technology initiatives. Develop a Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) for risk, threats and vulnerabilities that cannot be mitigated within an appropriate timeframes.  Verify contingency and continuity of operations plans are documented, developed and tested. Integrate processes and methodologies to resolve system problems or technology problems as they relate to system, application and Cyber requirements.  Apply knowledge of current DoD Cyber Security policy, tactics, techniques, and doctrine as required to support system implementation, system administration and cyber security reporting requirements.  Review and track cybersecurity compliance metrics. Draft program related documentation to support all activities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Candidates must meet DoD Cyber Workforce Management Program (DoDD 8140.01 & DoD 8570.01-m) requirements. Candidates must have more than 12 years experience in the field. 

REQUIRED EDUCATION: BS or BA degree. May require a Master's Degree.

Required Skills Required Experience

• High School degree or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Minimum 2 or more years of sales and/or customer service experience required; at least one year in the insurance and/or financial services preferred.
• Current license to sell life insurance and annuities in Nebraska and/or Iowa; attain and maintain any Life and Health insurance sales license in all applicable states.
• Proven track record of providing a high level of customer-focused services.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and web related products
• Ability to enter information on various screens using a PC Keyboard
• Managing and navigating multiple sources of information and applying as needed
• Work extended/irregular hours to include weekends/holidays
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues to a range of audiences
• Ability to work in a team environment
