What You'll Do as a ABA Behavior Technician:
As a behavior technician you will work directly with children with special needs (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder) in our ABA Clinic. Behavior Technicians will utilize ABA strategies/techniques to reduce challenging behaviors and teach replacement behaviors and other skills (e.g., communication, socialization)
Behavior technicians will be given high quality training, emphasizing hands-on learning.
Behavior technicians will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and receive ongoing training/feedback
Behavior technicians will also record data in multiple forms to determine the effectiveness of a treatment plan for assigned clients
Other administrative tasks will be assigned as needed (e.g., creating stimuli for clients)
What You'll Need as a ABA Behavior Technician:
Must have a Registered Behavior Technician license
Must be willing to do in-home services
Minimum high school degree or equivalent, college preferred
Must pass background check
Reliable car, proof of auto insurance and valid driver's license required
TB test required
Bachelor's or enrollment in a B.A. or B.S program preferred
ABA experience preferred
