Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and highly motivated ABA Child Specialist to join our team in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will work one-on-one with children in home, helping each child build essential life skills and reach their developmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Work directly with children to teach communication, social, self-help, and daily living skills. Manage and reduce challenging behaviors using evidence-based strategies Collect and record data on child progress and behavior throughout each session Participate in team meetings and training sessions to support program development Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children at all times Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other team members
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred) Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental delays Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques (RBT certification a plus) Strong observational, communication, and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children grow and thrive Ability to pass a background check and complete required training
Working Conditions: May require travel between client homes, schools. Physical activity including sitting, standing, playing on the floor, or assisting with mobility Flexible schedule including evenings or weekends, depending on client needs
