    About the Position

    Responsibilities:

    • Pull, stage and prepare various bulk and custom-ordered materials for loading.

    • Accurately read, understand and follow Pick Tickets for order pulling.

    • Build and stack materials onto pallets for loading while following safety guidelines.

    • Load materials onto delivery vehicles, pallets or carts quickly, accurately and in proper loading order to meet demanding delivery schedules.

    • Assess delivery vehicle and decide most spatial efficient and proper placement of materials and prepare accordingly for safe transit and unloading by drivers.

    • Maneuver, organize and place materials in most space efficient yet safe manner using varying moving equipment to assist if needed.

    • Contribute to team efforts by assisting with various entry level warehouse operations and dock-related tasks, shipping, moving, handling and tracking material using proper paperwork.

    • Provide hands on job-function training to fellow Associates as needed.

    • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient production functions.

    • Report any problems with quality, labeling, processes, or materials to Supervisor.

    • Process paperwork accurately.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
    • Be in good physical condition enabling work in bended position info prolonged periods of time (8 hours or more a day).
    • Must be able to consistently lift 25lbs – 50lbs.
    • Ability to reach, feel, grasp, grip, carry, push and pull.
    • Must be able to work in various conditions that exist in a warehouse environment: cold, heat, wind, dusty, etc. wet, noisy.

    Skill Requirements:

    • Ability to meet productivity standards and complete work in timely manner.

    • Ability to utilize hand trucks, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within warehouse facilities.

    • Ability to follow specific verbal and written instructions.

    • Work overtime as required by business needs.

    • Work well in fast paced team and warehouse setting.

    • Perform job tasks using specific safety tools and actions as provided in training.

    Licenses or Certifications Requirements:

    • Forklift certification preferred but not required.

    Schedule: 2nd Shift (2:00PM to 10:30PM), plus overtime and Saturdays as needed.

    Pay Range: $20.00 -$22.00 per hour (DOE)
