ACCOUNTANT - SOFTWARE CONSULTANT | ERP SOFTWARE

Single Source Systems, a value-added reseller of ERP software is hiring an Accounting/Software ERP Consultant (Remote / Virtual ) (U.S. based residents only)

OPPORTUNITY: As an Accounting/Software ERP Consultant with our team, you will be responsible for conducting successful implementations of ISM for CSD (Infor Service Management for CloudSuite Distribution by performing all tasks and activities defined by the Single Source System’s Milestone Methodology -- a formal and disciplined approach to deploying ERP / business software. You will be backed by world class products and a knowledgeable staff of functional and technical resources. This position may require travel and provides work from home flexibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Consultant is responsible for implementing the Accounting Software/ERP system by performing all consulting tasks and activities as defined by the SSS Milestone Methodology.

Tasks and activities include....

• Responsible for internalizing the client’s accounting model, accounting practices, business policies, processes, and procedures based on the ERP product and other licensed software being deployed.
• Translate and convey alternatives for accounting and software setup applicable to client’s business system environment and applied through initial application configuration
• Perform business process consulting and adapt application setup using GAAP and other software application best practices
• With the assistance of systems analyst, analyze critical reporting, legacy application, and required modifications based on client requirements
• Lead conference room piloting activities
• Assist in the coordination and knowledge transfer when specialty consulting is required.
• Participate and support go-live activities (performed over a weekend)
• Meet utilization standards set forth by Single Source management to achieve revenue & profit goals.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

• High degree of knowledge of GAAP and accounting software configuration
• Experience working with or experience implementing ERP software. preferably an ERP that included Service Management.
• Knowledge gained by working for or implementing software for an organization that sells, installs, and services equipment.
• High degree of detail and attention to accuracy in work produced
• Strong organizational skills with emphasis on content management
• General understanding of manufacturing, distribution or services industry practices
• Comfortable with constantly changing priorities and daily interruptions
• Task oriented and ability to work with others to find solutions to problems or unknowns
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and comfortable speaking with C-Level executives
