    Job Description

    The Head of Source-To-Pay / S2P Transformation is responsible for leading and driving procurement transformation activities across the organization. The individual will work closely with Global Process Owners and key stakeholders across the business to optimize the Source-To-Pay process and drive efficiency, effectiveness, and cost savings. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to deliver results through change management, process improvement and analytics. This involves setting end-to-end policies, managing budgets, and overall management of Source-To-Pay processes.

    Reporting to the Vice President of Global Business Services, the AECOM Head of Source-To-Pay / S2P Transformation is a key leadership role. The role is a budget owner of the entire GBS function that resides under this tower working with centers to ensure appropriate design and delivery of services and with stakeholders across AECOM business lines and functions to ensure value creation, budget delivery and alignment in expectations.

    This will be a remote/virtual position that can be based from a variety of US locations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop AECOM’s Source-To-Pay operating model which includes vision and strategy, governance, service delivery framework, and a global standard process
    • Develop and implement a Source-To-Pay transformation strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives and goals.
    • Define the roadmap and approach for source-to-pay optimization, including identifying key opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digitization.
    • Develop and manage a pipeline of projects and initiatives that support the transformation roadmap, manage budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver results.
    • Improve the integrity of tower processes and increase process reliability through improved cross functional alignment.
    • Manage and control the Source-To-Pay entire end-to-end process, removing redundant and focusing on added value activities.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and drive change initiatives.
    • Provide thought leadership and guidance to Source-To-Pay, Procurement and Centre Service Delivery teams, including managing the GPO model, training and development on best practices.
    • Work with regional operations and corporate functions to establish annual budgets and targets.
    • Drive investment case objectives and track benefits
    • Design and agree to service delivery models and performance frameworks, ensuring responsiveness and working with stakeholders to align and meet on business requirements – ensuring positive customer experience through service excellence and quality service.
    • Overall strategy and transition planning for changes in scope as well as designing service placement to one of the key strategic AECOM shared service locations.
    • Work with GBS leadership and stakeholders to develop a global structure that provides clear roles, accountability, and lines of reporting for the organization.
    • Foster a collaborative and engaging work environment focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and a customer-centric approach.
    • Design, develop, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of Source-To-Pay transformation initiatives and report progress to senior management.
    • Implement health metrics in monitoring processes and systems, and map these against industry best practice.
    • Work with change management teams to build effective communication plans.
    • Lead and comply with AECOM’s Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) policy by adopting work practices that support SH&E program.
    • Act as a role model and help create a culture that embraces flexibility and inclusiveness for all team members, championing AECOM values of diversity and inclusion.
    • Adhere to all Sarbanes-Oxley, internal policies, audit procedures and regulations to ensure full compliance monitors established control points
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • BA/BS in Purchasing Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field plus EXTENSIVE years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
    • At least 6 years of leadership experience in S2P and procurement, preferably within the professional services industry
    • Experience in a multi-function shared services/GBS environment with an understanding of end-to-end process management.
    • In-depth knowledge of contract law, procurement techniques, principles of negotiations, research and market analysis techniques, and contract development/administration is required.
    • Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills; proficient at communicating conclusions to leadership in a concise manner.
    • Ability to lead, motivate, and influence others.
    • Ability to manage multi-stakeholder relationships.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively problem-solve.
    • Ability to thrive under pressure and adhere to constant and challenging deadlines.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Masters degree in a relevant field
    • Proficient and broad technology skills including Excel, Oracle, Coupa or other procurement software and tools preferred.
    • CPSM or CPSD certification is a plus.
    • Experience working with and managing a third party outsource provider
    • Experience working across regions including the United States, Europe, Asia Pacific, India
    • Lean Six Sigma experience
