    Job Description

    AECOM is seeking a Graphic Design Manager to join the Design and Consulting Services Marketing Group. This role will support our Water Business Line and will assist in producing a range of materials for pursuits and projects.

    This will be a hybrid position including a combination of both remote and in-office, that can be based in, but not limited to: Orange, CA; Sacramento, CA; Dallas, TX; Austin, TX; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL.

    Job Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

    • Propose, develop, and implement strategic graphic design plans and tactics.
    • Maintain graphic design data and generate relevant reports.
    • May lead the graphic design function for an office, group, or practice, executing strategy.
    • May have direct reports.
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards.
    • Become actively involved in daily operations only when required to meet schedules or if there are difficult and complex duties requiring advanced techniques or an extensive and diversified knowledge of specialized areas of graphic production.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of employees.
    • Prepare reports relating to productivity and workflow resulting in improved processes and cost containment.
    • Responsible for reviewing progress and evaluating results.
    • Responsible for the training and development of employees.
    • Interpret and executes policies and procedures.
    • Ensure consistent application of organizational policies and monitors budget requirements for projects in support of these goals.
    • Develop advanced concepts, techniques, standards and new applications based on professional principles and theories.
    • Serves as a consultant to departments, groups and subsidiaries.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • BA/BS + 8 years of relevant graphic design experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience within the A/E/C industry
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
    • A strong portfolio of artwork demonstrating sensible design and production skills
    • An ability to design within brand guidelines
    • A thorough understanding of Adobe Design Standard and Microsoft Office, with emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Word
    • The ability to work under tight deadlines and complete work through multiple stages of review
    • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work in a fast-moving, demanding work environment.
