Busy manufacturing company is seeking an Industrial Purchasing Assistant Our organization is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to help maintain our supply inventory levels, as well, source and procure job specific materials.

As an assistant, you will aid the Purchasing Manager in researching current/historical price trends for raw materials like Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Galvanized, along with electrical components, hardware, and everything related to a fast paced manufacturing plant. The assistant will build and maintain relationships with vendors in order to ensure our company always has a source for necessary products. You will coordinate with suppliers, look for better ones, organize and get the best prices at the highest quality. Involves working with computers and spreadsheets, and standard accounting software packages You'll need excellent computer and communication skills. You'll often be working under pressure interfacing with several departments constantly. Experience: **1 or more years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment **Excellent computer & communication skills
