Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and experience working with children and families. This role involves providing therapy to individuals and families, focusing on improving mental health and fostering healthy relationships. The Therapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Duties
Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to the needs of children and families.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 codes in documentation and case management.
Engage in research to stay current with best practices in individual therapy and behavioral health.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care for clients.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment outcomes.
Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available resources.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field.
Valid BBS registration number as a therapist (AMFT/ACSW/APCC) is required.
Experience working with children and providing child family counseling is preferred.
Strong understanding of case management principles and practices.
Familiarity with behavioral health concepts and techniques.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and research in the field of individual/family therapy.
