    Job Description

    The Business Development Executive will drive the sales process with a defined set of prospective clients by collaborating with Avantas’ subject matter experts and Growth team members to meet an assigned revenue quota generated from new clients. Primary focus for this role is to generate sales leads, engage prospective qualified clients, educate qualified prospects on Avantas’ offerings and drive the sales process to contract execution.

    JOB TASKS: 

    • Following the Avantas’ sales process, this position is accountable to drive direct sales results. This includes client engagement strategy, on-site sales discovery, trade shows, product demonstrations, and client strategy sessions.
    • Carefully qualify opportunities for alignment with Avantas’ products and offerings – focusing on the HELM approach and the Avantas’ Center of Excellence operational model.
    • Identify client “mobilizers” who are crucial in the success of the Avantas’ sales process.
    • Forge, nurture, and align relationships with additional key client stakeholders to begin building lasting relationships with prospective clients.
    • In close collaboration with Avantas Executive Leaders and the Program Manager-Sales, manage a priority list of initiatives that will drive the robustness of the direct pipeline of prospects.
    • With support of the Growth team, deliver presentations to client audiences of all sizes that introduces and educates those audiences on the Avantas HELM approach, within the guidelines of the Avantas’ sales process.
    • Travel required.
    • Actively drive individual professional growth using learner, customer-centric and focus / motivation attributes to advance expertise, create Raving Fans and achieve line of sight goals.

     

    EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

     

     MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 

    • A minimum of seven years relevant experience in direct, outbound sales.
    • A track record of successfully selling and building relationships with C-Suite executives in complex enterprises.

     

      PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

    • Experience within the healthcare, software or labor-management industries preferred
