Apex Home Health Agency in Winter Garden, FL is looking for PER DIEM Home Health Aides for Home Visits to operate in Orange County and/or Seminole County areas.

Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living.
Duties:
-Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
Provide assistance with mobility
Assist with medication reminders and prescribed exercises
Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Monitor and report changes in client's health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Skills:
-Experience in meal preparation and cooking for individuals with specific dietary needs
-Ability to transfer clients safely using proper body mechanics
-Understanding of memory care techniques for clients with cognitive impairments
-Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers
Certification:
75 Hours of Home Health Training Certification
BLS/CPR
Experience:
6 months to1 year of experience preferably home health experience
Weekly schedule:
Monday to Friday
Rotating weekends
Weekend availability
Overnight
