  • Responsibilities

    The Accounts Receivable Administrator has the responsibility of performing functions related to various aspects of the cash receipts and accounts receivable. This position also supports special projects as requested by the Manager, Accounts Receivable. Must be highly motivated, organized, attentive to detail, able to work independently and the ability to handle multitasks in a fast paced environment.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Accounts Receivable

    • Analyzes accurate accounts receivable records for specific regional office clients;

    • Works with other departments to identify and address discrepancies, reconciliations, and communicates with clients regarding discrepancies, or any billing question they may have;

    • Heavy email communication between clients and also international regional offices;

    • Will be responsible for accounts receivable for a specific international region and will be responsible to respond to clients regarding their accounts and any other billing questions they may have.

    General Department Responsibilities

    • Using automated software prepares monthly statements to our clients, as needed;

    • Prepares schedules and researches payment and billing issues;

    • Upon request, provides special reports reflecting status of customer accounts;

    • Occasionally, assists in training new employees;

    • Perform other duties and projects as required.

    GENERAL QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES:

    Experience, Education and Certification

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred. 1-2 years of experience, or applicable internship in Customer Service or accounting, preferred. Knowledge and ability to do basic MS Excel. Strong skills in basic math, accuracy and precision, interest in business, organized, willingness to follow recommended procedures, honesty, patience, good written, and oral communication skills, good people skills and team player.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Great Plains accounting software (a plus), and use of general office equipment

    Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines

    Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

    Ability to work in a team environment
