Overview:

A public accounting firm in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Billing and AR Manager to oversee their billing and collections processes. This is a new position, with significant opportunities for growth, reporting directly to partners and management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

\- Lead and manage the billing and AR functions, overseeing a team of 2 administrative staff.

\- Provide strategic advice to ownership on improving collection efforts and optimizing the billing process.

\- Play a key role in transitioning to a new billing system, ensuring smooth implementation.

\- Maintain accurate and timely invoicing and reporting.

\- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to align financial practices with the firm’s objectives.

**Qualifications:**

\- 5+ years of experience in billing, AR management, or collections, with a focus on the service industry.

\- Excellent leadership and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

\- Tech-savvy, with a proven ability to manage and adopt new systems and technologies.

\- Ability to oversee a team, providing clear direction and maintaining high standards of accuracy.

\- Experience in **public accounting** is highly valued but not required.

-Experience in the Healthcare Industry is a plus but not required
