MCCARTHY HOME SERVICES is a National service leader in Plumbing and HVAC and we have an exciting career opportunity for an ambitious, team-oriented professional who is interested in managing our Plumbing Operation.

We are currently seeking a Plumbing Service & Sales Manager to help drive revenue as we have serious GROWTH plans in 2021.

Salary - 80k to 100k per year plus bonus incentives based on performance and experience. Additional incentives if you have a Maryland State Plumbing License. 

Responsibilities

As a Plumbing Service Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing the safe and efficient installation, repair, and servicing of plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings. You will effectively manage workload and job costs, achieve production, and margin objectives and provide plumbing services to customers and contractors.

• Manages and develops the plumbing staff, which includes hiring, training, and corrective actions, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling employees, evaluating performance, and directing work assignments to ensure effective production.
• Establishes and maintains departmental operating policies and procedures and budgets
• Evaluates workload and schedules installation and service work in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits
• Resolves customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
• Communicates regularly with plumbing staff to assist in providing estimates, resolving problems, and closing sales
• Ensures that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs
• Ensures that all personnel observe safety and Company rules and regulations
• Instructs crews on proper use of materials and quality workmanship
• Stays in touch with service technicians and installation crews to assist with unexpected needs
• Reviews payroll records to ensure that technicians are paid properly
• Conducts job site surveys. Checks to ensure that each job is complete, and that documentation is completed

Qualifications

• The ability to train and motivate individuals to achieve production goals
• Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills
• A focus on customer retention
• The ability to thrive in a competitive, goal-driven environment
• Three to five years of plumbing management experience REQUIRED
• Maryland Master Plumbing License is a PLUS
