Cesani Arts, is a premier art restoration company in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.
Due to our growth, we are looking for a talented artist who is interested in doing restoration work. Our team is composed of highly talented and dedicated restorers. We are an ethical and transparent company who is focused on quality restoration and lowering claim costs.
We specialize in the cleaning and restoration of art, photos and collectibles damaged by water, smoke or breakage. We work in a variety of mediums, including paintings, works on paper, sculptures, photographs, clocks, collectibles, taxidermy and various sentimental items.
Primary job responsibilities Include:
Framing and matting
Disassemble and evaluate artwork to be cleaned, serviced and/or repaired.
Select and order frames and other replacement items as needed.
Clean, restore and re-assemble artwork to pre-loss condition. .
Communicate with art owner to update status of their artwork.
Properly operate the ART van in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and ART procedures.
Entry into damaged properties such as a burnt buildings and homes as needed to retrieve art
Inventory, document, and evaluate artwork for restoration.
Job requirements include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts
Painting background with an understanding of color matching
Photoshop experience a plus
Picture-framing experience a plus.
Excellent customer service skills; providing "white glove" service to our clients.
Exhibit a professional, clean appearance that represents the ART brand
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; positive attitude
Strengths in multi-tasking and prioritizing
Ability to lift 50 pounds as part of artwork pick-up and delivery activity.
Working knowledge of basic PC and Mac operations
As an ART Restoration Technician, you will be expected to:
Be ethical, respectful and understand that our customers have an emotional connection to their art and photos and need to have them restored.
Handle general office administration responsibilities, such as; ordering materials, answering client questions/phones and estimating jobs using our tracking system (you will be trained).
Work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
Participate in ongoing training programs sponsored by the company and/or affiliated organizations.
You will have a three-month probationary period. You will need to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check. Benefits currently include flexible hours, paid time off and medical coverage.
