    Job Description

    Seeking an experienced ASIC Engineer who is highly motivated and has a strong background and capability to work with our ASIC Design team, focused on ASIC implementation, ASIC design flow, and ASIC integration.

    SEAKR's focus is leading edge radiation hardened ASIC design for spaceflight.

    Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills. We are seeking an experienced engineer who has technical mastery of the entire ASIC development flow, as well as the skills to interface with ASIC foundries, EDA suppliers and manage the technical interchanges.

    • ASIC design tools and techniques
    • Synthesis, Static Timing Analysis, Design for Test, and Formal Verification
    • Strong RTL background and ability to drive verification
    • Working with designers and system engineers to analyze ASIC requirements
    • ASIC implementation experience for hierarchical designs
    • Defining and maintaining ASIC design and methodology guidelines
    • Defining and maintaining ASIC signoff documentation and checklists

    The preferred candidate shall have

    • Working knowledge of multiple EDA suppliers; Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor
    • Previously debugged test vectors on the test floor
    • Experience with multiple interface IP; DDR, UCIe, High Speed SERDES, ADC/DACs
    • Ability to write constraints to properly sign-off the design for test
    • DFT experience in 32nm and below technology nodes
    • TKL and Python scripting, and Git and Subversion revision control tools

    Experience with the following tools is a plus:

    • Synopsys or Cadence Static Timing Analysis
    • Hierarchical synthesis techniques and clock gating for power reduction
    • Primetime SI, DFT Advisor and Fastscan/Tetramax
    • Tessent RAM self-test / self-repair tools
    • Logical Equivalency checking and power analysis
    • Synopsys or Cadence Physical Design

    Candidate shall also have leadership skills and ability to provide support and technical direction to junior engineers. Clear written and verbal communication skills are required.

    A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required; a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is desired. Must have at least 10 years of ASIC implementation experience.

    Additional Information

    Compensation: Base salary range is $160,000 - $210,000 per year, depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.

    Onsite work is preferred.
