AST is searching for Customer Service Representatives who meet the below qualifications.

FINANCIAL SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE – VIRTUAL CALL CENTER (TEMPORARY)

AVAILABLE SHIFTS: MONDAY-FRIDAY 10AM – 6PM / 12PM – 8PM

RATE: $17.00 PER HOUR __

AST is excited to be seeking new talent to add to their team of Financial Services Representative, offering an opportunity for those who are curious about the financial services sector or seek to further their experience. This role also offers the potential for a career path at AST.

In this role, you will be interacting on the phone with shareholders, their representatives, and the investment community supporting activities against share positions held at AST. Baseline knowledge of the Financial Services industry would be helpful, but not necessary – if you have strong communication skills, excellent phone etiquette, and both a desire and capacity to learn more about the world of financial services, we can prepare you!

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED:

• Customer Service or other direct consumer experience is helpful, but not required; Financial Services background welcomed;
• In addition to excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills, successful candidates must maintain a professional disposition in all interactions;
• AST will provide a comprehensive initial training of 4-5 weeks, followed by ongoing refresher training. Therefore, applicants must possess the ability to absorb and retain a significant amount of new information;
• Candidates must be comfortable using technology and working in a remote environment;
• Typing/keyboard skills required;
• Successful candidates possess an ability to quickly navigate and comprehend information available in electronic guides;
• Teamwork is critical to the success of our group – representatives will be supported by our experienced staff;
• Schedule adherence and punctuality are vital;
• Representatives must maintain required performance metrics;
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply;
• Must be able to work remotely from a safe, private and quiet work location
• Must possess your own computer equipment with the following specifications:
• WINDOWS enabled PC (no IPADs, MACs or CHROMEBOOKs).
• WINDOWS operating system WINDOWS 10 or higher.
• Microsoft Edge needs to be installed as the default browser.
• Must have at least 4GB of RAM
• Unmetered private high-speed internet access (no standalone hotspots/cell phone hotspots accepted).
• Laptop must also have the following a soundcard; 2 available USB ports & web cam (can be integrated or stand-alone)
• USB connected headset with noise cancelling features (gaming headsets will not be compatible)

NOTE: IF SELECTED, YOU WILL REQUIRE TECHNOLOGY ONBOARDING, WHICH WILL INCLUDE THE INSTALLATION (ON YOUR EQUIPMENT) OF THE NECESSARY APPLICATIONS NEEDED FOR CONNECTIVITY TO THE AST ENVIRONMENT.
