We are Atomic Kid Studios.
A Milford Connecticut based production company that specializes in all forms of video production. From live action to 2D/3D animation to large scale presentations and everything in between, we stay pretty busy. With all this awesome work that we are insanely proud of - we are looking for a Project Manager / Producer that’s a natural born organizer, team leader, and passionate about animation and video production to help keep the studio running smoothly. A great sense of humor, and willingness to share random pop culture references or a ridiculous meme is always a plus.
What you'll be doing:
Manage production of your assigned projects through multiple phases, including the development of; work estimates, statements of work, schedules, as well as oversight of pre-production to final delivery
Support Senior leadership where appropriate. This will be determined based on project and needs
Communicate with internal and agency partner teams effectively to ensure client expectations are managed, deliverables are met on schedule and ensuring quality control over each of these deliverables
Manage multiple projects with close attention to detail
Handle on and off-screen talent, music and image search to fit creative vision, this will include casting both voice-over talent as well as model / actors for live action projects
Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness to meet project milestones, internal team needs, and budgets
Post videos to internal and external services for client review and final delivery
Work with external vendors to oversee all aspects of post-production as needed, including onboarding and procurement related needs (NDAs, W9s, etc)
Preparing documents (Google slides and spreadsheets) for pitch decks, regular creative reviews and production booklets on live-action projects
Organize internal project needs, including time-sheet, job codes and project creation
Asset management, including the creation of job folders on DropBox and other storage devices
Supply runs for both project support (propping, wardrobe) and internal needs
This is the role for you if...
3+ years of Project Management / Producer experience in the animation and/or video production industry
A self-starter with exceptional problem solving skills, and can handle crazy late breaking changes and client "curve balls"
Must be comfortable working in a Mac based environment
You have the magic ability to interpret creative briefs and understand the resource and skills required to deliver exceptional, high quality work
Deadline and detail-oriented, strong time management of production workflow from inception to final render
Ability to clearly communicate between team members and take direction from creative leads - we appreciate people who bring ideas to the table and are ready to collaborate
Finds inspiration and shares it with the team, always looking for ways to help us grow
Master troubleshooter; foresee problems before they arise and work on solutions
This is an in-house position in our downtown Milford, Connecticut office

Compensation will be offered based on experience and responsibilities.
