We are looking for an experienced Project Management Financial Specialist with General Motors experience in Financial Systems, Manufacturing Tooling, Automation, or Product-Related.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative and financial support to Manufacturing / Automation Equipment Project Managers
Review, coordinate, and support budget-related issues for ongoing projects
Submit PRs/shopping carts, tracking budget, and complete monthly forecasting
Create and maintain Financial Structures
Monthly financial forecasting and reporting
Create Purchase Requisitions
Coordinate with Global Business Solutions to transfer funds and allocate resources
Write SOWs to support Purchase Order documentation
Facilitate end-to-end Field Order process
Document Control, including the archival of final project documentation
Coordinate with the Process Integration team to drive common processes for the department
Effectively interface and communicate with the cross-functional team to support the timely execution of Engineering/Manufacturing Projects
Coordinate team meetings for consistent communication
Ability to work on-site at the client's Facility in Warren, MI up to 5 days per week when required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s in Business, or Finance, or Engineering or equivalent experience highly desired
Experience working in an Automotive Engineering Environment within Manufacturing Tooling or Automation or Product development
Solid Financial Background supporting large engineering projects
Experience working with Project Managers
Demonstrated leadership in achieving goals, team building, and decision-making
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office tools and advance knowledge of Excel
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with General Motors Financial Processes and Software applications
Experience using SAP or other larger Corporate Databases
Experience using Ariba / RTP Next purchasing system
Ability to travel on assignments when required
Experience with SharePoint
Possible domestic travel is less than 10%
Hourly Rate is based on Experience
Must be able to work paid overtime when necessary
