What You’ll Do:

• Managing and processing commission statements including the extracting and/or uploading between platforms for direct and independent brokers
• Tracking commission payments and commission data maintenance using both excel-based reports and other commission data platforms
• Calculate and forecast expected commissions for monthly reporting
• Identify and research missing/incorrect payments and other discrepancies
• Creating month-end reports, reconciliations, and report balancing
• Serves as subject matter expert for the particular carrier data
• Communicating and developing relationships with carriers
• Review CRM database for out of date sales opportunities, missing partial information or client updates
• Analyze and assess accuracy of sales reports
• Evaluate and classify sales data
• Collaborate with sales team on managing and resolving commission-related discrepancies
• Resolve and co-relate actual commission and internal data
• Summarize and submit commission data for supervision
• Communicate with internal and/or external contacts to research and confirm status of existing insurance policies
• Support finance leadership on related analysis, projects, task, etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Advanced Excel Required
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Perform analysis on and manipulate large datasets
• Ability to identify and research payments, errors, incorrect sales information, etc.
• Strong work ethic and passion to continuously improve processes
• Attention to detail and organized
