OVERVIEW
Join our team as an AVEVA Wonderware Engineer!
This role will be based out of one of our 7 office locations (Maumee, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Peachtree City, GA; Indianapolis, IN; Edina, MN; Kansas City, KS; Westminster, CO). The role also has the option of being fully remote within the United States. The position is salaried and includes eligibility for overtime pay.
This position provides support on projects and includes a combination of both in office work as well as onsite support. The work may entail system administration and application development. Ideal candidates are familiar with both InTouch and System Platform. Project work varies across a multitude of industries, sizes and clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer AVEVA Wonderware systems.
- Perform design and engineering functions in accordance with accepted practices and Matrix standards.
- Prepare project scopes of work, preliminary design concepts, and cost estimates for small to mid-sized projects. Assist in gathering field data and preparing project specifications.
- Coordinate design with other members of the project team.
- Develop Graphical User Interfaces.
- Develop scripts to work in conjunction with SCADA systems.
- Create and execute test plans.
- Maintain positive client relationships on projects assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Three or more years AVEVA Wonderware InTouch and System Platform experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Computer Technology or related field from an ABET-accredited college or university
- Minimum three years of controls, automation, and electrical troubleshooting and start-up experience.
- Experience working with SQL and various other data sources.
- Engineer In Training (EIT) or Professional Engineering (PE) certification preferred.
- Varied industrial background is a plus. Key industries include food, chemical, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.
- Ability to travel approximately 10-25%, both locally and overnight.
- Develop high-quality, error-free industrial software programs in keeping with the defined project requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk, and hear.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- This employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to hazardous locations, inclement weather, moving mechanical parts, noise, ladders, uneven ground, and stairs.
- This employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to a wide range of known food allergens.

We offer market-competitive compensation for a Job Title with a base range of $ 76,000 to $ 115,000 annually, and a total compensation package that includes quarterly bonuses, 401(k) matching, and overtime pay. Salaries are based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
