AVP Data Analyst

MUST be local to New York City, Hybrid Schedule at least 3 days onsite

Salary Range: $77k to 135k

You must be working at a financial firm and have strong experience with automated data extraction from ServiceNow and analyzing data for weaknesses. Common Service Data Model experience is a huge plus. Without financial and ServiceNow your resume will not be reviewed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain documentation of data quality issues and corrective actions taken.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and risk factors that may impact the organization.
• Develop and maintain data catalog, list of pain points, dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide insights to stakeholders.
• Maintain and identify changes needed in metadata for domain data.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer specific needs.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in data quality management, data analytics, or risk management.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and CMDB
• Proven experience in implementing data controls and governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python).
• Experience with data design, data audit, data governance, and visualization tools, E.g. Power BI, Tableau, Dataiku.

Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of data sources, transformation rules, and uses of data for the domain. Particularly the experience with ServiceNow platform and CMDB in supporting IT services and operations.
