ABACUS STAFFING is a leading provider in the distribution of light industrial talent. We are currently looking for an ONSITE RECRUITER to join our dynamic team. The ONSITE RECRUITER will be responsible for managing, staffing and recruit at a client's site located in Piscataway, NJ

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work onsite at our client's facility while nurturing the relationship and ensuring all customer's needs are met
• Actively monitor associates' work performance through walking the production floor
• Conduct new hire orientations, onboard candidates, and check employees at the beginning of their shift
• Coach employees to improve performance and work to decrease turnover
• Actively engage with associates in a positive way
• Create and maintain multiple daily and weekly reports
• Conduct injury and employee investigations as required
• Implement company culture, values, and policies
• Develop workforce strategies, to recruit and develop qualified candidates
• Coordinate events focused on employee recognition and dedication
• Advocate for employee retention and development
• Oversee data entry and maintenance of employee records
• Participate in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions
• Time keeping and attendance monitoring
• Payroll processing

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-4 years of experience in Client Management, Talent Acquisition, Staffing, Recruiting, HR or other related fields
• Prior warehouse management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, emphasis on Excel
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling changes and business needs as necessary
• Previous experience within the light industrial warehouse industry preferred
• High energy with positive team focused attitude
• Sense of urgency and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people
• Bilingual Spanish/English a must
• Ability to build rapport with employees and clients
• Strong leadership qualities
