    We are looking for a committed Occupational Therapist to join our growing team that serves the 0-3 year old Early Intervention population with a caseload of 10-20+ treatment hours/week. At Abilities Pediatric Physical Therapy we value all that therapists give to our clients and aim to promote a healthy work-life balance. No micromanaging; you create your own schedule and caseload amount.

    Responsibilities

    Perform standardized assessments at evaluations and create goals with family

    Manage scheduling clients

    Complete timely documentation

    Provide evidence-based therapy to clients in their home environment

    Educate and instruct parents on daily integration of therapy strategies

    Minimum Requirements

    Current California licensure in Occupational Therapy

    Master's degree or higher from an accredited university program

    Knowledgeable in occupational therapy, trans-disciplinary early-intervention theories, sensory integration and rehabilitation principles and practices.

    Knowledgeable evidence-based practices found to benefit children with Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD).

    A minimum of one year of pediatric experience

    Friendly, outgoing demeanor

    Experience with working with families

    Able to meet deadlines, detail and task-oriented

    Well-versed in gross motor milestones

    Preferred Qualifications

    Sensory Integration experience

    Bilingual Spanish

    Experience with pediatric feeding/oral-motor issues, screening for neuro referrals, bracing needs etc. are also highly valued..
