    Position: Mechanical Engineer

    Location: Houston, Texas

    Job Description

    As a Forensic Engineer, you will provide technical investigative and analysis services to Law Firms, Insurance Companies and Corporations regarding product, equipment failures and various accident analysis. In this role you will be the Case Manager responsible for multiple client cases and will report to the Engineering Manager. For most of these cases you will work independently or may request support from the company technicians and engineers.

    Interested Candidates should have the following credentials:

    • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University

    • At least 7- 10+ years of experience and significant report writing experience

    • Professional Engineers (P.E) license

    • Master’s or advanced degrees a bonus

    • Background in risk safety

    The candidate must also be willing to occasionally travel on a day or overnight basis to investigate incidents whether it is consumer products, industrial accidents, or product and equipment installation and maintenance issues resulting in failures. This position is well suited for an individual who is motivated and a self-starter who likes working independently and not at a desk and on occasion also enjoys working outdoors and working with clients in the field.
