    Job Summary:

    The position of Account Executive holds an important position for Black Box Intelligence. This position is often our customer’s first experience with our company so you will need to make a great first impression to earn the right to generate leads, to guide prospects by demonstrating market expertise, to uncover business needs and to close business. This position is responsible for prospect identification, lead generation, sales calls and presentations, proposal and contract negotiations through the full deal process. The key sales focus will be selling our products and a high focus on our Black Box Intelligence platform that provides restaurants with a direct way to interact and engage with their customers.

    Reports to : Vice President, Sales

    Responsibilities :

    • Attain quarterly and annual quota with targeted accounts in the mid market
    • Actively seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through active prospecting including emails, outbound calls and social messages.
    • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
    • Follow the strategic sales cycle to ensure opportunities are moved through the proper sales stages effectively and efficiently
    • Negotiate effectively, generating support and cooperation from a variety of key stakeholders to close deals that contribute to the defined revenue and growth targets
    • Guide prospects by demonstrating market expertise, and client awareness to uncover business needs. Understand the way influence flows through the organization, budget is developed and allocated, decisions get made, change is implemented, and investment decisions are approved
    • Maintain up-to-date and accurate recording of sales activities within the corporate CRM platform on a daily basis understanding the importance of sharing the status of sales activities so the Black Box resources can provide the best support and leadership possible

    Qualifications and Attributes :

    • 3+ years of business development preferably at a technology company, with proven ability to deliver consistently strong and measurable results
    • 2+ years Reputation management, surveys and review tracking/responding experience is preferred
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present in front of executives
    • Expert in strategic consultative sales process that is relationship driven
    • Experience in crafting custom emails, writing LinkedIn messages, and using direct/digital mail to obtain meetings
    • Strong and professional executive presence with willingness to connect to customers via phone, email and in person
    • Experience with CRM and automation systems to generate, capture, nurture, track and report on leads, conversions and ROI. Groove Flow experience a plus
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google product suite
    • Excellent spoken and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
    • Strong listening, probing and influence skills
    • Sense of urgency to complete assigned tasks against deadlines and goals
    • Self-motivated, hardworking and committed to your own success
    • Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through
    • Confident, creative, curious and high energy

    Travel Requirements: ~20% travel required
