Account Executive – Security Systems
Renton, WA
Our client, a leading provider of building automation and security solutions, is looking to add an Account Executive to their team. The Account Executive will foster growth in the Security Solutions sector by creating and converting leads into successful sales for current buildings. This role involves estimating, quoting, negotiating, and selling upgrades and retrofits to new and established customers, ensuring a timely, profitable, and responsive approach.
Account Executive Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow assigned accounts, including building owners and property managers, and government agencies.
- Meet and exceed yearly quotas.
- Create and execute strategies to maximize sales.
- Conduct needs assessments and prepare sales proposals, estimates, and presentations.
- Collaborate with various departments and external partners to close sales.
- Assist customers with product or service problems and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Use sales software to track activities, forecasts, and expenses.
- Engage in professional and civic activities, attend relevant meetings, and enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Keep up with market and product developments.
Account Executive Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 + years of sales experience
- Experience in selling construction related and/or security products required.
- Knowledgeable in access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related systems. Security systems certification is preferred.
- College degree preferred.
- Skilled at interpreting plans and specs.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation: $70k - $120k base + commission – Target total comp $180-200K. Commissions are uncapped.
