    We are a leading pet nutrition company looking for an animal loving, money motivated B2B Account Executive to join our team in Westlake Village. This is a full time, Monday-Friday in office position. Our Account Executives are the liaison between the company and our distributors and are the key drivers of revenue.

    You will be given a portfolio of existing distributors who are pet professionals throughout North America. Success and compensation in this role are based heavily by the growth of these accounts.

    You will drive their sales through education, providing them with marketing tools and practices, and your ongoing support, all while focusing on the health of animals.

    You will be focused on building and maintaining strong business relationships, using both your sales skills and customer relationship skills to ensure their success and to improve their profitability and the growth of the company-distributor relationship.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Nurture relationships, ensure satisfaction, foster loyalty, and encourage long-term partnerships with distributors.

    Gain deep insight into the distributor’s business objectives and ensure that the company’s products are aligned with these goals.

    Improve the sales skills of distributors to increase their sales success rates.

    Understand and demonstrate the benefits of our program and product to the distributors.

    Manage the needs and expectations of distributors, handle questions, issues, and/or objections given, resolve conflicts and ensure satisfaction.

    Use skills in communication and sales to highlight the advantages of our program.

    Follow the provided sales process.

    Make upwards of 100 calls a day.

    Meet sales goals and KPIs set by leadership.

    Maintain distributor accounts in company databases.

    Requirements:

    Must be an active listener.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Maintain a persuasive, tactful, and professional demeanor.

    Customer Service focused.

    Tech-savvy with working knowledge of MS Office.

    Love of animals.

    Preferred, but not required:

    Bilingual.

    Previous use of HubSpot.

    Inside Sales Experience.

    Compensation:

    Base + Commission + Bonus. Make no less than $58,000/year.

    The current average for first year Account Executives is $59,000/year.
