    Job Description

    Job Summary:

    The Account Executive is responsible for driving business growth by prospecting, engaging, and securing new clients within the hospitality industry, including hotels and restaurants across the Western region of North America. This role requires a strategic approach to business development, leveraging phone, email, and social media outreach to build a robust sales pipeline. The Account Executive will collaborate with internal teams, maintain strong client relationships, and utilize industry knowledge to deliver innovative solutions that align with organizational goals.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Work closely with the Directors of Sales and SDR team to develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals.
    • Identify and research high-potential prospects within the Western North America territory, leveraging market data, industry trends, and competitor insights.
    • Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking) and inbound sources (events, trade shows, and marketing campaigns).
    • Conduct market research to strategically focus on target customers, key decision-makers, and business opportunities.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and present tailored proposals that align with client needs.
    • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead qualification and prospect engagement to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring compliance with company policies on pricing and terms.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a positive and professional customer experience that fosters long-term partnerships.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals while maximizing value for both the company and the client.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, finance, implementation, and customer support) to refine sales strategies, support customer needs, and ensure a seamless sales process.
    • Represent Shiji at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings, building brand visibility, networking, and engaging with potential customers.
    • Monitor industry trends, advancements in hospitality technology, and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
    • Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to the Head of Sales, detailing outbound activities, pipeline progress, market insights, and performance metrics.
    • Maintain accurate records of prospects and client interactions in Zoho CRM for effective pipeline management and follow-up.
    • Ensure sales targets are consistently met or exceeded through strategic planning and effective execution.
    • Complete all administrative tasks, reporting, and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities):

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related fields
    • Minimum five (5) years of proven experience in B2B Technology/SaaS sales, Business Development or Sales within the hotel and/or hospitality software industry.
    • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to drive new business and execute sales strategies for revenue growth.
    • Proven ability to drive new business and execute sales strategies, focusing on identifying and nurturing customers to achieve revenue growth
    • Ability to understand client needs and present tailored solutions that deliver value.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail and reliable follow-up capabilities when working with cross-functional teams.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar), marketing automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
    • Customer-centric mindset with strong business acumen, professionalism, and a commitment to exceptional service.
    • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
    • Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Reside within the Western North America region.
