  • Responsibilities
    • Demonstrate behavior that aligns with DGA’s core values of People, Pace, Passion, and Purpose.
    • Assist in preparing presentations for customer appointments, document information from customer meetings, and work with sales team to execute action items.
    • Work in tandem with sales managers and product development on email blasts, webinars, product features, and closeouts.
    • Develop trust and provide outstanding service to both external and internal customers.
    • Work with sales on win-win solutions including creative problem-solving options (i.e., new product, closeouts, substitutes, alternatives, etc.).
    • Collaborate with internal resources such as sales, creative, product development, overseas teams, and supply chain to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
    • Prepare, distribute, and analyze various sales and business activity reports to ensure milestone dates are met.
    • Develop and manage customer relationships with major buyers as needed.
    • Contribute to customer strategy, ensuring business objectives are achieved.
    • Ensure team service levels are met or exceeded.
    • Continuous improvement of processes focusing on simplification, efficiencies, and margins.
    • Carryout creative problem solving to satisfy all parties, using all tools available to solve issues.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent level of on-the-job training.
    • Minimum of 5 years strategic sales experience in a B2B sales environment, including experience with retailers and at least 3 years of supervisory responsibilities.
    • Proven ability to drive sales, profitability, and growth.
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs and influence effectively at all levels.
    • Intermediate proficiency level in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
    • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Excellent customer service skills as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Qualifications

    Bachelors with minimum 15 years experience or equivalent relevant work experience. Bachelors maybe substituted 2 for 1, in addition to the relevant work experience requirements.
