Position Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales of signs and visual communication products for our company and managing the successful delivery of projects. This role will be a combination of a commission-based sales and a salaried project manager, with approximately 80% of the responsibilities focused on outside sales and about 20% focused on project delivery The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and business development with excellent communications skills and an understanding of visual communication products.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
Identify, develop and grow relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales of signs and visual communication products.
Identify new sales opportunities and work to close deals.
Respond to all inbound sales channels in a timely manner.
Negotiate contracts and approve pricing with clients.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Keep up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and new products or services.
Project Delivery:
Coordinate the successful delivery of projects, from deposit to planning, execution and completion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and installation teams.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Communicate project status updates to clients and stakeholders.
Identify and manage project risks and issues.
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Demonstrated competency in business development and project delivery, preferably in the sign or visual communication industry.
Strong proactive sales skills and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience in project delivery methodologies and tools.
Knowledge of visual communication products and the ability to consult with customers on signage solutions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project delivery methodologies.
