Position Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales of signs and visual communication products for our company and managing the successful delivery of projects. This local-to-Indianapolis role is focused on business development with an emphasis n growing top line revenue with developing a pipeline of opportunities by contacting previously unidentified prospects with phone calls and personal visits. Compensation will be a combination of a base salary and commission, with approximately 60% of responsibilities focused on business development / sales and about 40% focused on delivering sold projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, project management, excellent communications skills and an understanding of visual communication products.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
Identify, develop and grow relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales of signs and visual communication products.
Identify new sales opportunities and work to close deals.
Develop a predictable revenue sales pipeline
Respond to all inbound sales channels in a timely manner.
Negotiate contracts and approve pricing with clients.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Keep up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and new products or services.
Project Delivery:
Coordinate the successful delivery of projects, from deposit to planning, execution, completion and final payment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and installation teams.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, in scope, and in budget.
Communicate project status updates to clients and stakeholders.
Identify and manage project risks and issues.
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Demonstrated competency in business development and project delivery, preferably in the sign or visual communication industry.
Strong sales skills and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience in project delivery methodologies and tools.
Knowledge of visual communication products and the ability to consult with customers on signage solutions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related platforms.
